Playing Experience:
Ann played all four years at Frankfort Senior High School as a middle and outside hitter. Ann earned all-league honors during her freshman, sophomore and junior campaigns at Frankfort before battling shoulder injuries her senior season. She assisted Frankfort to four Sagamore Athletic conference championships and a perfect 28-0 conference mark during her career. Ann led Frankfort to the 3A state semi-finals her sophomore season and earned a spot on the Indiana State North all-star squad.
Ann played club volleyball one year for LAVA, one year for Frankfort Jrs, and four years on the National teams for Indy Jrs. During that time at Indy Jrs she qualified for the USAV Junior Olympic National Championships in 2002 and 2004. In 2004 her 18 National team qualified by finishing 2nd in the Hoosier Region.
In 2004, Ann received a full-ride scholarship to Indiana State University to play volleyball. Ann was a key member of the 2004 ISU volleyball team; starting for ISU as an outside hitter. ISU advanced that year to the MVC tournament. Career ending shoulder injuries kept her out of action in 2005. Ann recorded an excellent freshman compaign for the Sycamores averaging 3 kills per game, which ranked her third on the team in 2004. She led the Sycamores in kills and had six matches with at least 10 kills. Ann posted a career high with 19 kills,17 digs, 10 solo blocks for a single match during conference.
Coaching Experience:Ann will graduate in 2009 with her BS in nursing.
